The Larson Design Group is an architecture and engineering firm based in Corning, NY.

In the summer of 2025 their head of marketing reached out to me to do shoots in three locations: Watkins Glen, NY, Franklinville, NY and Corning, NY. They wanted me to capture imagery (strictly stills) of water/waste water treatment facilities they had been working with. Most of the subject matter I was to get were water holding tanks for the water treatment plants and aeration tanks and clarifying tanks for the wastewater facilities.

MENARD CONSTRUCTION

In the summer of 2023 The Cayuga Health facility in Ithaca, NY was about to undergo a massive addition. The construction company in charge of the project was Menard Construction. Menard Construction is based in Pittsburgh, PA but the foreman that contacted me to take drone photos and videos on the progress of the site had an office in Syracuse, NY.

The morning of the shoot was very hot and ridiculously sunny. Furthermore it was close to the noon hour so the sun was almost directly overhead. Because of this, I used an ND filter durning the shooting. I was able to get some really good shots and the company was pleased with the work.
