Drone shoot for:
The owners had me do their first shoot in the summer of 2023. They requested a summer drone session so that we could get lovely aerial footage of the pool and its landscaping. We are hoping to do another session next autumn in order to capture the walking trails in peak foliage!

Drone shoot for:
YALE MANOR BED & BREAKFAST & YURTS
Although the trees on the property made capturing drone photos and videos somewhat of a challenge, we (the owners and myself) were pleased with what we got. The rest of the property including the yurts were easy and fun to capture.
Part of the reason for the aerial photo was to capture some photos for a listing! The owners were in the process of trying to sell the property to be closer to family. I have not met the new owners but I can tell you that if you’ve never seen a yurt, that alone would be worth a stay! These yurts are especially nice. You can see pictures of them from the inside on their website: Yale Manor B&B.

Drone shoot for:
I remember two things about that day quite distinctly.
First: The lighting was absolutely perfect. Which was unusual for the time of day it was (roughly 1pm). I even did the entire shoot in normal mode because I didn’t foresee myself having to do much in the way of color correction and, regarding color grading, Patrick was looking for as “natural a look as possible”. All original footage was shot at 4k and 25fps.
Second: The other thing that really stood out to me was that I would NEVER want to be in this line of work! I am not particularly afraid of heights….I would just be terrified to mess up someone’s property with falling limbs! That said, Patrick did an excellent job! Although I didn’t stay for the entirety of clean up etc., so…I suppose anything could have happened.
Many thanks to Patrick for the opportunity to capture my first tree service. Should you need tree work, you can reach Patrick at: (607) 342.7041.
